Robert Hannah
Robert Hannah is Professor in Classics at the University of Otago. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts at Otago, he studied classical archaeology at the University of Oxford and in 1980 joined the staff of Otago's Classics department.
He has published widely on ancient Greek and Roman art and archaeology, and in recent years has focussed on the cultural uses of astronomy in the classical world.
He is the author of Greek and Roman Calendars (Duckworth: London, 2005) and Time in Antiquity, to be published by Routledge.
