The Elegant Universe of Albert Einstein
This exciting collection of essays on the big ideas in science was launched at the City Gallery cinema in Wellington on April 19. An enthusiastic audience heard a panel of authors, chaired by Kim Hill, deliver many thought-provoking ideas, from Matt Visser's pronouncement that eventually our universe will die (but fortunately not for thousands of millions of years) to Paul Callaghan's intriguing stories about brilliant New Zealand scientist, splitter of the atom, Ernest Rutherford, a contemporary of Albert Einstein.
The Elegant Universe of Albert Einstein $24.99
